Full rewires and part rewires for houses and flats — first fix cabling and back boxes, new consumer unit and earthing, second fix accessories, then testing and certification at the end. One customer had the whole house done to a tight deadline before they moved in; if you're working to a completion date, say so at the quote stage and it gets planned around.

Fuse board and consumer unit replacements, RCD and RCBO protection, earthing and bonding upgrades, and the unglamorous work of tracing why a circuit keeps tripping. Fault finding is diagnosis before parts — find the actual cause, tell you what it needs, then fix it. One reviewer had the fuse board seen to inside an hour of ringing.

Exterior lighting for houses and business premises — PIR floodlights and security lighting, wall lights across a rear elevation, garden and patio lighting on their own protected circuit, and outdoor sockets. Cable runs are clipped and routed so they look deliberate rather than draped, and the whole lot goes on RCD protection.

EICRs, landlord reports and installation certificates.
All types of inspection and testing and certification: EICRs for homeowners, landlords and commercial premises, periodic inspection of existing installations, and certification for new work. You get the report with the observations coded and explained — what has to be done, what should be done, and what can be left — rather than a PDF you can't read.

Installation, testing and repair for commercial premises.
Emergency lighting installed, tested and repaired for shops, offices, units and communal areas — escape route and open area lighting, exit signage, monthly function tests and the annual full-duration test, plus fixing the failed fittings the last test threw up. Results go in your log book where an inspector can find them.

An extra socket, a dead ring main, an extractor that has stopped, a supply to a garage, outbuilding or cellar pump, a light fitting nobody else will touch. Ring early enough in the day and it can often be seen the same day — one customer rang after lunch and had the job done that evening.

We're NAPIT approved contractors and the work is done to BS 7671, the UK wiring regulations. You won't find a row of scheme logos on this page, because a logo proves nothing from your sofa — ask when you book and current certification and insurance come over before anyone starts.
The thing you can check right now is the company itself: AD and C Electrical Services Limited, company number 08479644, incorporated 9 April 2013 and still active. Look it up on Companies House.
